Tom Kirk Presents the Latest from Creative Labs

Tom Kirk of Creative Labs has made presentations to us at BCUG for many years. When we need a speaker, we can always count on Tom to give an excellent presentation.

Creative Labs, one of the earliest makers of Digital Audio devices has recently launched a brand new model called the Zen Micro. This small, but feature packed player has become an instant hit. It won the award for " Best of DigitalLife 2004" in the "Portable Music Player" category. 

It uses a 5GB micro drive, has an FM tuner, voice recorder and will synch with Microsoft Outlook to store contacts, calendar and ‘to do’ list. The high quality audio specs of Creative’s mass storage hard drive players have been retained in this micro drive product. The battery has a twelve-hour life and is user replaceable (allowing an easy swap with a spare for those long trips).
