About
the presentation:
It's
a year of severe contrasts in the consumer electronics and computer
industries. We love to buy the latest electronic gadgets, and yet must
face economic reality. But there's no stopping progress --
smaller, cheaper,
faster, and with more capacity, more features -- and so companies need
to continue to develop new and improved products.
Again this year, Doug Dixon worked the Consumer Electronics Show to
scope out the new products, and to report back developing trends,
especially for home and personal entertainment.
With personal storage reaching tens of gigabytes on tiny chips, and
immediate connectivity through wireless broadband to your handheld,
you can have constant access to massive libraries of information and
entertainment from your home to your phone, anywhere, any time, and on
any devices. Even better, you can create and share your own
high-quality content, with ten-megapixel digital cameras, HD video
camcorders, powerful yet inexpensive desktop software, and Web-based
communities.
So come and explore developing trends in consumer electronics
technology, and to see the latest portable digital devices and other
tech gadgets.
