Mike Austin is a local IT Consultant and annual speaker at BCUG. His topic in December will be on scanning for home or small business. He will demonstrate 3 different scanners and several software packages. He will talk about image quality, a sample filing system and some tricks to make the process run smoothly.

Mike has spent the last 10 years working on Electronic Medical Records for health facilities and has no paper documents or manuals left in his house … they are all digitized. Since Mike turned 65 this year, he looks forward to retirement in 2 years so he has enough energy at the end of the week to start attending BCUG meetings. Hopefully, the computer he uses to demo will have System 7 on it for a quick overview as well.
