Mike is the host of the Mike Tech Show Podcast. He is also an independent IT Consultant and IT Professional for more than 25 years. Mike is a graduate of Drexel University and has been working with computers since the early days of the Texas Instrument's TI-99/4A home computer in 1982. From this he moved on to building his first Intel 8088 IBM PC clone with two floppy drives and a CGA monitor. His computer career really took off when he discovered Lotus 1-2-3 and started developing complex spreadsheets to assist many companies. He became proficient with the early version of Autodesk's AutoCAD where he learned AutoLisp and helped the City of Philadelphia Highway Division digitize the city streets. He became passionate about networking when he connected his first office with Novell 286 and used cc:Mail for email. 

Mike's podcast is about all things technology and computer related. He discusses cool sites, software, tips and tricks that will make you more productive at home and work. Mike also reviews problems and solutions encountered at home and with consulting. He answers listener's tech questions and also discusses solutions from other listeners. The broadcast is every Thursday LIVE on Ustream at 8PM ET, from his home in the suburbs of Philadelphia. 

Mike was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. He and his wife Dorothy have three sons, and one grandson. 

Mike will speak to us about ways to increase the efficiency of your own computer and show us how to follow him on social media, as well as review some helpful utilities you can download free.
