Andrea Tarr "Taking Great Photos" MEETING DATE: March 21, 2014 |
How to Take Better Photos
Stop blaming your camera for those shots that you don’t like and learn some techniques that can elevate your snapshots into photography. This presentation by Andrea Tarr will cover topics like composition, rule of thirds, capturing the decisive moment, and more. We’ll cover some of the typical “rules” of photography and find out why it’s ok to break them.
Andrea Tarr is a life-long photographer and her photos have been in exhibits throughout NJ and published in newspapers and magazines. She has taught several photography classes and has done dozens of presentations on the subject. She believes it’s the photographer that makes the picture – not the camera.
Andrea is the Program Director of SCAN (Social Community Activities Network) and has hosted Jersey Coastal Live, an internet radio talk show, for three years. She also is the former leader of BCUG’s Graphics workgroup and the previous editor of BCUG Bytes.
