Description

Understanding Digital Web Performance By David Jones and Andreas Grabner

We all use the internet and often find it slow. Is it our computer? Our home network? Our ISP? Could it be the website itself? Before we rush outr to buy a new computer to get a faster web browsing experience or scream at our Internet Service Provider we will look at what goes into the delivery or those web pages to our eyeballs. People who put up web sites want us to be satisfied with their site and buy their products. There's a lot more "under the hood" than just what happens in your computer. David Jones (Jonesy) is an expert at Dynatrace. Dynatrace is a company which makes a tool for measuring web page delivery performance. He will expain where the time is spent getting that web page to you.
