CURE-Minnesota Data Centers-Use Energy and Water MEETING DATE: Thursday, July 23, 2026 6:45PM - 8:45PM (Zoom meeting room opens at 6:45 PM; Meeting starts at 7 PM) via Zoom virtual meeting. |
CURE ( CUREmn.org ), Citizens Utility Board (CUB), and Rewiring America lead an informative webinar about data centers and energy. Presenters provide insight on the key concerns about hyperscale data centers' potential energy needs, how that energy might be generated, and the potential impacts on existing ratepayers and member-owners. This starts with one of CURE's Data Center webinar series, which offer insight into their impacts on water, energy, and our communities, and the policies and tools you can use when faced with a proposed project.
